After my divorce, I moved back into my parents’ home for some time to breathe, regroup, and save money as I determined my next step.

Like most women going through a divorce, I was constantly stressed.

If you asked society and high fashion magazines what a beautiful woman looks like to them, they would probably mention or show you a flawless-looking image of a tall, skinny, model with perfect skin.

Birthday parties. Honestly, I have never been a big fan of them.

On any given day, being a single mom can be hard; but, add in the holidays and the challenges get harder.
