Welcome to The Village.

April McKnight - Former Resident and Shepherd’s Village Executive Director

“At Shepherd’s Village, refrigerators are more than appliances—they’re canvases of hope, covered in prayers, scriptures, and encouragement from a community that believes in each mom’s future.

Faith on the Fridge: A Journey of Prayer and New Beginnings

This summer, we invite you to follow “Faith on the Fridge,” a living journal of transformation. Walk with five courageous single moms as they step into their new Habitat for Humanity homes. Celebrate their victories. Then, meet five new moms just arriving at Shepherd’s Village—brave women beginning a new chapter with uncertainty in their hands and hope on the horizon.

Through prayer and support, you can help cover their refrigerators in faith—a visual reminder that they’re not alone, and that their story is still being written with love, grace, and community.

Stick your prayer on your fridge, and remember to pray for hers. Join the village. Be the faith that fills her home.
